Minutes of the Alpaca Research Foundation Meeting
April 11, 2011
Present: Abe Rosenbloom, Allan Dewald, Pat Long, Lisa
Williamson, Karen Baum, Randy Larson, and Michelle Ing.
The meeting was brought to order at 6:05pm, PST.
President's Report: Abe has contacted the education division of the AOBA Board
to let them know we are willing to provide
an ARF lecture at the annual AOBA meeting. We have not received a response from
AOBA as of yet.
March Minutes: Allan moved for approval, Pat 2nd. Unanimously approved.
Treasurer's report: Due to an early ARF BOD meeting, Pat will present the report
at the next meeting after the
monthly statement has been received.
Development Committee: No report was given at this time.
MAF/LMRG Update: No report was given at this time.
Meeting the Challenges of Genetic Improvement: No report was given at this time.
New Business:
ARF Update at ARI Annual Meeting: ARF has been asked to give an update at the
Annual ARI meeting.
Proposal Review: Two proposals were reviewed.
Allan moved to adjourn the meeting. Karen seconded the motion. Meeting was
adjourned at 6:40pm, PST.
Next meeting is scheduled for May 23, 2011 at 6:00pm PST.
